Profile of   D. W. Karpf, CEO

    ProSec Services Inc. was founded by Deputy Sheriff (Retired) Mr. Dieter W. Karpf, President, Executive Director and General Manager.  Mr. Karpf is
also the Director and Chief Instructor of S.D.T. Academy (a Division of ProSec Services Inc.).
D. W. Karpf drew on his twenty (25) years experience as a Deputy Sheriff including four (4) years as a Correctional Officer to lead this Company into
the new Millennium.

D. W.  Karpf  was appointed as a:
       a)  Lower Mainland Field Training Officer from 1981 until his retirement in April of 2000 (Certified as a Firearms,
             Chemical Agent, Baton, Handcuffing and Control Tactics Instructor by the Courts Academy,-Justice Institute of BC
             and Police Safety System), 

      b)  Field Training Officer for approximately six (6) years in the Vancouver Escort Section, BC Sheriffs; responsible for
            training all new employees who graduated from the Deputy Sheriff Employment Readiness Program, Courts
            Academy, Justice Institute of BC (The duties performed by Deputy Sheriffs in this section are similar in nature to the
           US Marshall Services
).

While working as a Deputy Sheriff and as a Correctional Officer, D. W.  Karpf:

bullet

provided many High Profile prisoner escort/protection assignments on land (driving) and in the air (flying);

bullet

was required to fly to most larger Canadian Cities to arrest and transport prisoners from various Correctional Facilities/Police Lockups to
Vancouver on Outstanding Warrants;

bullet

was selected by the Judiciary to provide personal protection services for the Chief Judge of the Province;

bullet

provided protection/security assignments for Provincial Court Judges & Juries;   

bullet

transported Important Court Exhibits to undisclosed destinations;

bullet

worked together with the R.C.M.P. and Vancouver Emergency Response Team in escorting and transporting high profile prisoners
(Clifford Olson among others) by motorcade, on plains & on foot;

bullet

developed a training plan and  Instruct/Supervise a Tactical Team (Emergency Response/Cell Extraction Team) for the
 Vancouver Supreme Court House;

bullet

was selected as the Training Officer by the Warden of the Burnaby Female Correctional Facility to train all Female Correctional Officer (1979)

bullet

developed and conducted extensive Risk Assessment pertaining to Deputy Sheriff Duties, Ministry of the Attorney General, and was also
involved in Occupational Health & Safety matters in the Escort Section;

performed a variety of additional  security & protection assignments when carrying out my duties as a Correctional Officer and “Deputy Sheriff.


Mr. Karpf is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate Do and was the Head Instructor for two (2) Karate Clubs, with over six hundred (600) students who
